Transportation

Furniture Assistance

Referrals to the ALIVE, Inc. furniture program for donated furniture.  Call 703.746.5700.

Dental Clinic Screening and Referral

Eligibility screening and referrals to the Northern Virginia Dental Clinic for adults with low-income who have no dental insurance. Covers most dental services. Prescription Drug Assistance

Limited resources for one-time-only prescription assistance. Referrals to local Health Department or prescription assistance programs. Call 703.746.5700.

Eye Exam and Eye Glasses

Referrals to Lions’ Club, Prevention of Blindness or other area non-profit organizations for glasses. Call 703.746.5700 for more information.

Burial Assistance

Assistance for basic burial or cremation needs for persons who were eligible, low-income City residents. Contact the Office of Community Services at 703.746.5700.
