What is a tweetup? Why does the City of Alexandria host tweetups?
For general information, please see Alexandria Tweetups.
What is the goal of this event?
The goal of tweetups at Gadsby’s Tavern Museum, owned and operated by the City of Alexandria, is to allow people to interact in person and via Twitter with the Museum and its related events. This tweetup is an opportunity to attend the Presidential Salon with James Madison, participate in a conversation with City officials about the importance of City history and the City's social media strategies, and attend a reception with Madison after the Salon. We hope that tweetup participants will tweet about what they learn before, during, and after the event!
