 Opportunities to Help At-Risk Children
- Prepare "first night" necessities for children taken into foster care as a result of a crisis.
- Baby Basics Baskets (ages 0-24 mos.)
- Toddler Treasures (ages 2-5)
- School Age Supplies (ages 6-12)
- Teen Totes (ages 13-18)
- Arrange outings for children (zoo, museum, movie, etc.)
- Supply tickets for sports or performance events.
- Organize celebration picnic for children and foster parents.
- Organize appreciation brunch for foster parents and volunteers.
- Purchase Life Books and scrapbook/memory book supplies for foster children.
- Join a Speaker's Bureau to reach out to community groups.
- Instruct foster teens in life skills or career opportunities.
- Be a Santa Claus for a foster child or needy family.
- Help raise money for The Fund for Alexandria's Child, providing enrichment for at-risk children.
- Assist with newsletter production.
- Contribute to the "Send a Kid to Camp" fund.
