Traffic Signal Outage at Duke St. and Daingerfield Rd.

Traffic signals at eastbound Duke Street and Daingerfield Road are out due to high winds, which have knocked down a light pole. The intersection is now closed, Alexandria Police are on the scene, detouring traffic.  Eastbound traffic on Duke Street is blocked at Holland Lane; motorists must  take Holland Lane to eastbound Jamieson Avenue, then go northbound on West Street to Duke Street. Repairs may take up to several hours; motorists are advised to avoid the area.
