Tornado Watch

The City of Alexandria is under a Tornado Watch until 2 a.m. on Thursday, January 31. A Flash Flood Watch remains in effect until late tonight, and a Coastal Flood Advisory is in effect until 3 a.m. on Thursday, January 31.

A Wind Advisory is also in effect until 6 a.m. on Thursday, January 31. Strong winds could down tree limbs or cause power outages.

Residents are urged to monitor weather reports and to be prepared to act if severe weather warnings are issued.
