Woodrow Wilson BridgeRide the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail!

The Woodrow Wilson Bridge Trail opened in 2009 to bicyclists, runners, and walkers following a dedication ceremony on National Trails Day. The bridge trail provides a much-anticipated connection between the City of Alexandria and Prince George's County.

 
 


Alex bicycle friendly community sealAlexandria named a Bicycle Friendly Community!    

The League of American Bicyclists has awarded Alexandria a Bronze designation in its Bicycle Friendly Community program. The city has been improving its bicycle infrastructure and programs as part of its Spin City 2009 efforts.
