Alexandria Police Seek Public’s Help Identifying Suspects in Larceny

Alexandria Police are seeking the public’s help in identifying the suspects involved in the larceny of three Rolex watches valued at over $37,000 from King’s Jewelry, located at 609 King Street. On Thursday, September 6, at 10:00 a.m., the two suspects entered the business, pulled out hammers from underneath their jackets and began smashing two display cases. An employee heard the commotion and chased the suspects out of the store. No one was injured inside the business.

The first suspect is described as a black male, in his late teens, 5’8” to 6’0”, with a medium build. He was wearing jeans and a blue hooded jacket made by Helly Hansen with the logo HH on the left front chest.

The second suspect is described as a black male, in late teens, 5’8” to 6’0”, with a medium build. He was wearing jeans, a black hooded sweatshirt with the hood pulled over his head. The sweatshirt had an astronaut on the front possibly made by Billionaire Boys Club.

Surveillance video of the larceny and the suspects can be viewed on the Alexandria Police Department’s YouTube Channel: youtube.com/AlexandriaVAPD.

Anyone with information about this case or who recognizes the suspects in the surveillance video is asked to call Detective Loren King of the Criminal Investigations Section at 703.746.6689.

Detectives would like to remind citizens that they may remain anonymous.
