Jones Point Park Construction Update - November 23, 2010

In close collaboration with the City of Alexandria and the National Park Service, the Wilson Bridge Woodrow Project (WWB) is about to embark on a major restoration effort at the park. WWB is hosting a Pardon Our Dust meeting on December 8, 2010 to inform the public about the Jones Point Park Project.

Construction efforts will begin in December 2010 with completion anticipated in June 2012. Equipment staging will begin the week of November 22 and the Mount Vernon Trail will be re-routed via Franklin and South Royal Streets beginning the week of December 6.
