Proposed Safety Fence Design Options

The public is invited to provide input on proposed design options for the installation of a short term safety fence around the Windmill Hill Park Bulkhead, 501 S. Union St., pending future removal and replacement of the current concrete bulkhead. The existing bulkhead is severely deteriorated and imminent failure of the structure is possible.

In response to community comments, staff developed five (5) design options. Public input will be received through Wednesday, August 22. The Windmill Hill Park Bulkhead Safety Fence design options and public comment will be presented to the Board of Architectural Review (BAR) at a Public Hearing on Wednesday, September 5, 7:30 p.m., City Council Chambers, City Hall, 301 King St.
