Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities Schedules Picnic Shelter Renovation at Angel Park

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities contractors will be renovating the existing picnic shelter located at Angel Park, 201 W. Taylor Run Parkway. The existing roof will be replaced with standing seam panels. The new roof will also have a semi-open arbor on each end. In addition the structural frames will be repainted, and the existing concrete floor pad will be repaired. The shelter is located at the central portion of the park, adjacent to the basketball courts.

The work is weather dependent and scheduled from June 12 through 30. The work is anticipated to take one week to complete. The picnic shelter will be closed during the renovation. For your safety, please use extra caution when near work areas.
