This public hearing is an additional opportunity for the community to review the design for interim public open space in the Braddock neighborhood, located on the city-owned parcel at 600 N. Henry Street. The interim open space, slated for construction in mid-2014, is for use and enjoyment by residents until such point as the block redevelops and the full 1 acre park called for in the Braddock Metro Neighborhood Plan is constructed.

The Braddock Implementation Advisory Group and the community held public meetings to discuss the open space over the fall, providing feedback to the City on the preferred layout, design and potential small-scale activities that could occur for the interim open space.
