Public Invited to Attend Beverley Park Renovation Open House

The Department of Recreation, Parks and Cultural Activities invites the public to attend an Open House about the Beverley Park Renovation on Saturday, June 21 from 10 a.m. to noon, and on Tuesday, June 24 from 10 a.m. to noon and from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the park site. In the event of inclement weather, the Open House is cancelled. Beverley Park is located at 620 N. Overlook Dr.

Attendees will have an opportunity to learn about the initial process for the park and playground renovation, including slope stabilization and to provide feedback about the park to City staff. Water and light refreshments will be available.

If you are unable to visit the park at these times, you may also provide feedback by completing the online Beverly Park Survey. Paper copies of this survey are also available at the park.

For additional information, contact Judy Lo, Landscape Architect, at 703.746.5490 or,  or visit the Beverley Park Renovation website.

Funds are available in the FY 2014 and FY 2015 Capital Improvement Program for Park and Playground Renovations. The program replaces deteriorating play equipment and provides small-scale enhancements in playgrounds and parks throughout the City.

The City of Alexandria is committed to compliance with the City’s Human Rights Code and the Americans with Disabilities Act. To request a reasonable accommodation or to request materials in an alternative format, call Judy Lo, at 703.746.5490 (Virginia Relay 711) or e-mail
