Leaf collection services are currently running on a delayed schedule, visit alexandriava.gov/leafcollection for a updated schedule and estimated updates to leaf pickup zones. Due to severe weather and heavy rains, the City asks residents not to rake wet leaves into the street for collection, and make sure debris is separated from loose leaf pickup. Paper bags will be collected at the front curb, one business day after regular refuse collection, and plastic leaf bags will be collected as refuse.
