Board of Architectural Review - Old And Historic District

The Old and Historic District Board of Architectural Review passes on the appropriateness of changes to exterior architectural features of the buildings and signs subject to public view within the Old and Historic District.

It also controls demolition of all structures in the District. These same powers are applicable to certain designated 100-year old buildings outside the District. The Board meets on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 7:30 p.m. (except in August when they are on recess). Approximately 10 hours per month are required of Board members.
