July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, and the City encourages residents to learn about the challenges minorities face when seeking mental health treatment. Mental health conditions do not discriminate based on race, color, gender or identity. However, culture, race, ethnicity and sexual orientation can make access to mental health treatment much more difficult.
