Health and Safety Coordinating Committee

The purpose of these meetings are to keep City Council informed of various issues and concerns in the community. Through the efforts of various City departments and organizations the City is working diligently to address and resolve these issues for the community.

The Health and Safety Coordinating Committee are comprised of two Council members, a representative of the City Manager's Office, Department of Community and Human Services, Code Administration, Police Department, Sheriff's Office, Commonwealth's Attorney, Alexandria Public Schools, and Alexandria Redevelopment and Housing Authority.

All meetings will be held in the Council Workroom.
