The Department of Community and Human Services (DCHS) has four behavioral health psychology externship positions. Two positions in Child and Family Behavioral Health Services (CFBHS); one position in Emergency Services ; and two positions in the West End Wellness Center. See the links below for more information.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, clinical work will
include varying levels of in-person contact with clients dependent on needs. Social distancing and appropriate personal
protective equipment (PPE) will be provided. Telehealth is utilized.
The externship start date is September 13, 2021 – May 2022, end date flexible. The required day for team meetings is every Thursday. Prerequisite training includes at least one therapy practicum experience prior to start date.
