This project provides for the realignment of a sanitary sewer to eliminate the existing siphon in the sewer system, replacement of damaged headwalls on existing culverts, and stream restoration work upstream and downstream of the culverts.

The construction is scheduled to begin in May 2014 and it is expected to be completed in six months. Construction activities will require intermittent lane closures in the vicinity during non-peak hours. Access through the area and adjacent properties will be maintained at all times. There will be no lane closures on Janneys Lane during rush hour. Temporary pedestrian detours will be provided when closure of crosswalks is required.

A public meeting was held on April 1st at Douglas McArthur Elementary School, 1101 Janney’s Lane from 7pm to 9pm in the school library. The project meeting letter and the presentation given can be reached by following the links.
