Contingent Reserves are an amount of money included within the total General Fund budget that is set aside to provide City Council with expenditure flexibility should unforeseen events occur during the fiscal year. Monies budgeted in Contingent Reserves can only be expended after specific action by City Council to transfer these monies to other accounts. A transfer of monies from the contingent reserves account does not result in an increase in the total General Fund Budget.

The following table includes actions that have taken place during this fiscal year, including carryover from prior years.
