Alexandria Fire Department Partners with Baskin Robbins to Raise Funds for National Fallen Firefighters Foundation

WHO:             Alexandria Fire Department And Baskin Robbins

WHAT:           The Alexandria Fire Department will partner with Baskin Robbins, 1701 Centre Plaza, 3020 Duke Street and 3325 Jefferson Davis Highway this Wednesday from 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.  As part of a national Baskin Robbins event “31 Cent Scoop Night” the Fire Department will help collect money to benefit the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation.

Come out and get a 2.5 ounce scoop of Baskin Robbins ice cream for just 31¢.  In celebration of 31 Cent Scoop Night, Baskin Robbins will make a donation of $100,000 to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The National Fallen Firefighters Foundation is a tax-exempt, nonprofit institution, established by Congress in 1992, that leads a nationwide effort to remember America’s fallen firefighters and assist their families and coworkers.  In 2004, it established the Everyone Goes Home Program to help prevent firefighter line-of-duty deaths.  For information on the NFFF go to
