Teen Wellness Center Open House
Alexandria Health Department's Teen Wellness Center (TWC) will host an Open House on June 7th to increase awareness about the TWC, the free medical services it provides Alexandria teens, and how these comprehensive services have benefited the community.
Attendees will meet members of the TWC team, the clinic's student advisory board, and student artists (currently featured in the clinic). All are invited to enjoy student artwork and hor d'oeuvres; and help consider how TWC can continue to collaborate with community members to keep Alexandria teens healthy.

Facts About TWC
- On average, TWC provides care for over 300 Alexandria teens per month. Services are confidential and FREE!
- The City of Alexandria's teen pregnancy rate declined by 19% from 2014 to 2015. According to Health Department records going back to 1979, Alexandria pregnancy rates are currently the lowest ever.
- In 2017, TWC providers inserted a total of 169 LARCs (long acting reversible contraceptives).
