The annual open enrollment period for health insurance coverage under the Affordable Care Act (ACA) runs November 1 to December 15, 2018.

The Affordable Care Act (ACA), frequently referred to as “Obamacare,” provides consumers with subsidies that lower the cost of health insurance for low-income households. Anyone who needs coverage for 2019 should visit HealthCare.gov to start an application and shop for plans to take effect as early as January 1, 2019.

We urge residents interested in obtaining insurance coverage under ACA to sign up as soon as possible.

Are you currently covered by the ACA? You might qualify Medicaid under the recent expansion.
