What's Next Alexandria Second Community Dialogue Set for January 29

What's Next Alexandria is a community conversation about civic engagement and planning for the future -- and how Alexandrians can best participate in the public decisions that shape the City. At the second Community Dialogue, set for Tuesday, January 29 at 7 p.m., participants will work to lay the groundwork for future civic engagement in Alexandria. The event will be held at First Baptist Church, 2932 King St. The City encourages all to attend this event and work with their neighbors to help improve public participation. Childcare and simultaneous Spanish translation will be provided.  For those unable to attend in person, the City plans to test and evaluate live Internet video engagement, which will let viewers watch live video from the event, participate with other viewers in group exercises through a moderated live chat, and then tell us what they think of this tool for future use.
