City Council Holds October 24 Special Meeting to Appoint City Manager Rashad Young

The Alexandria City Council will formally appoint Rashad Young as Alexandria’s new City Manager during a special meeting on October 24, at 6 p.m. Young, City Manager of Greensboro, North Carolina, was selected by City Council to replace former City Manager James K. Hartmann, who resigned from the position in May. The special meeting, which is open to the public, will be held at City Hall, 301 King Street, in the Council Chambers.
