- Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Work Group, 2011-Current
The Potomac Yard Metrorail Implementation Work Group (PYMIG) was established to ensure a thorough technical analysis of a potential new Metrorail station in Potomac Yard and ensure full coordination with other City efforts. PYMIG meets regularly to consider the variety of issues that will arise as the project moves into design and construction, and to function as a forum for the public outreach process through station opening. - Potomac Yard Metrorail Feasibility Work Group, Jan-Dec 2009
In order to assess the technical and financial analyses required for a potential new Metrorail Station in Potomac Yard, in 2009 the City Council established a Metrorail Station Feasibility Work Group. The group analyzed the financial tools, risks and fiscal impacts of funding the station, examined concept refinement and constructability, reviewed construction costs, and evaluated potential ridership.

The mission of this group is to provide guidance to staff on potential updates to the North Potomac Yard Small Area Plan. - Potomac Yard Design Advisory Committee, 2004-Current
The role of the Potomac Yard Design Advisory Committee is to review development plans for compliance with the Design Guidelines and Standards of Potomac Yard. Applications are brought to the appointed citizen group as needed and are discussed at public meetings. The Committee will provide comments to applicants and staff to guide proposals and ultimately make written recommendations to the Planning Commission. - Potomac Yard Planning Advisory Group for the 2010 North Potomac Yard Planning Process
PYPAG's mission was to provide advice to City staff on the Potomac Yard Small Area Plan and associated zoning approvals to help identify the best feasible use of Potomac Yard.
