Public Invited to Attend West End Park & Programming Forum to Discuss Park, Recreation, Special
Event & Cultural Programming Successes & Improvements

The Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities will host a forum on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4643 Taney Ave., to receive direct input from associations and civic groups on their ideas for park and program improvement. The public is encouraged to complete the West End Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities Survey by January 21, 2018. Survey results will be discussed and provided at the meeting, and will be posted on the web.
The forum is an opportunity for staff to provide associations and civic groups with information on recent improvement activities in west end parks (parks planning district III), recreation facilities and program enhancements, answer questions on the status of park and recreation plans, and receive comments on future park, recreation and program improvements.
