Street Tree Replanting
If a City-owned tree is removed from the street in front of your home, the City will replant that tree at no cost to you. All that is required is your commitment to regularly water and care for the tree during its first few years of establishment (Click Here for Maintenance Tips). By participating in this program, you may also designate a species of your choice from the list of Arborist-approved street trees. To browse trees on this list, click on your preferred tree type below (large, medium, or ornamental). If you have received a door hanger notifying you of this program, fill out the attached postcard, remove and mail to the City Arborist. If you have not received a door hanger, contact the City Arborist to find out if you are eligible and how to participate.

The Living Landscape Fund
The Living Landscape Fund is a mechanism for donating trees on public property for the enjoyment and benefit of all. The Living Landscape Fund is often used to plant a tree in memory or in honor of an individual or group, but is also used for philanthropic and ecological reasons. Contributors to the fund may select a species of choice from the hardy tree list and may also request a location for the tree to be planted. All requests are subject to review and approval by the City Arborist. Contributors are asked to regularly water and care for the tree during the first few years of establishment.
