Support Services Bureau

The Support Services Bureau is responsible for managing the facility, coordinating improvement projects with contractors and other agencies, delivering services to inmates in the Detention Center, maintaining inmate records, and serving local probation and pretrial clients.

The Support Services Bureau, overseen by Chief Deputy Candra Callicott, is responsible for managing the facilities and delivering services to inmates at the William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center. Captain Doug Woehlke commands Support Services Division and Director LaTanya Ervin commands Inmate Services and Alternative Programs. Support Services works closely with General Services as well as with contractors to ensure that construction projects and ongoing maintenance are conducted securely and efficiently. In addition, Support Services is the liaison for the contractor providing food service for inmates. Inmate Services and Alternative Programs includes the Inmate Work Detail and Alexandria Criminal Justice Services which handles local probation and pretrial cases.
