What Changes to Transit/Other transportation should I be aware of during this period?
All transit is for essential trips only. For a list of what trips are essential, please see the first page of the governor's order here.
As of April 1, the operating status is as follows:
Metrorail -- Trains come once every 20 minutes on each line except the Red Line -- the Red Line is every 15 minutes. Only King St and Braddock Rd remain open -- Van Dorn St and Eisenhower Ave remain closed
Metrobus -- Metrobus is on a modified Sunday schedule. This includes the 10A, 10B, 10E, 29K, 29N and NH2. Please board through the rear doors only. Persons with mobility issues can board through the front doors as normal.
DASH -- DASH is running on a Sunday schedule. The King Street Trolley has been suspended. Click here for updates
Capital Bikeshare -- Capital Bikeshare remains open
VRE -- VRE is running on an "S" schedule. Only trains marked with an "S" in this schedule will run
DOT Paratransit -- DOT Paratransit is available for essential trips only.
I need an essential trip late at night, and none of these transit options work. What can I do?

Are there changes to parking enforcement?
Yes. The City has suspended enforcement of the 72 hour rule (move your car once every 72 hours), residential parking zones, and weekend parking meters (full list here)
WHAT IS THE OPERATING STATUS OF The department of Transportation & Environmental SErvices (T&ES)?
T&ES is completely operational. As of April 1, most administrative staff is teleworking, and essential services (resource recovery, traffic operations, public works) are still being provided. Hours of select services may vary. Check here for the latest information.
