Customer Relations

CUSTOMER RELATIONS and CALL CENTER
Customer Relations serves walk-in clients at 4850 Mark Center Dr., 5th floor and accepts calls at the Customer Call Center.  The team assists DCHS customers with a wide range of service needs that includes coordinating and connecting to Department programs, providing information and referral, and assisting customers with completing applications for those needing help due to technology limitations, language barriers and literacy needs. Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) has Ended

Some internet service providers have not updated their websites and other marketing materials to reflect that the Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) and its monthly discount on broadband services ended on June 1, 2024. Some provider websites even continue to collect personal information from consumers seeking enrollment in ACP.

Tax Return Preparation

FREE TAX RETURN PREPARATION
Every tax season, the City of Alexandria offers free tax return preparation by appointment only to eligible residents. Dates and hours are posted in late-January each year. See last year's tax season flyer in English and Spanish for details about what to expect and how to prepare.
