Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Community Meeting – July 20, 2026
Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Community Meeting – July 20, 2026
The City of Alexandria invites community members to attend a public meeting to learn about the latest design for the Taylor Run Infrastructure Stabilization Project.
At the meeting, City staff will present the 60% design plans and explain how the proposed improvements are intended to protect vulnerable infrastructure along sections of Taylor Run while minimizing impacts to the surrounding environment. Staff will discuss how the design has evolved through engineering analysis and community feedback and provide an overview of key project elements, including sanitary sewer protection, stormwater outfall protection, landscaping plans, and the tree protection plan.
Community members will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback before the project advances to final design and construction.
