Recovery Month Celebration! – Wednesday, September 23
Ben Brenman Park (3 p.m. – 6 p.m.)
Wrap up Recovery Month with an afternoon of food, fun, and community spirit! Join us for music, family-friendly activities, and local resources that highlight the strength of recovery. Celebrate alongside individuals, families, and loved ones who make Alexandria’s recovery community so vibrant.
These events are designed to educate, celebrate, and strengthen our city’s recovery community while spreading the message that behavioral health is essential to overall health, recovery is possible, and no one walks the journey alone. They create spaces for healing, connection, and learning, while uplifting the voices of those with lived experience. Together, we honor the strength of individuals and families, reduce stigma, and highlight the many pathways that make recovery possible.
