When was the last time we increased RPCA OTSP fees and by how much? In FY 2025 the full fee increased by $100 (from $792 to $892 per year). In FY 2024 the fees increased by $200 to partially offset a request to add six new part-time Recreation Leaders for OSTP.

How many kids on the RPCA out of school time (OSTP) waitlist? Currently there are 157 kids on the waitlist. The waitlist is not strictly related to staffing, but also to space.
How much funding is needed to provide the staffing required to absorb the waitlist? Based on the two West End sites that currently have physical capacity to expand enrollment, RPCA would need a minimum of 4 additional seasonal staff for the school year. For a full year, that would be approximately $64,000. If the physical space was available at all locations, RPCA would need a minimum of 10 additional seasonal staff for the school year. For a full year, that would be approximately $160,000. Note that this is an estimate based on School Year 2024-2025 waitlists.
How much increase in full fees would cover the needed funding for staffing? An increase in the full rate by $325/participant (for a new school year fee of $1,217) would provide approximately $162,000 additional revenue. An increase in the full rate by $130/participant (for a new school year fee of $1,022) would provide approximately $65,000 additional revenue.
