Response:
Early in the FY 2027 budget development process, the City Manager and the Office of Management and Budget instructed departments and partner agencies to develop expenditure reduction options of 1.0% of FY 2026 General Fund budgets. A total of $9.0 million of submitted reduction and efficiency options were included in the proposed budget. The attached list includes $1.6 million in expenditure reduction options that were considered but not included in the FY 2027 Proposed Budget.
