Community Engagement Announced
The City of Alexandria is hosting a pre-construction community meeting on Thursday, November 6. More information is available in the Construction section below.
Project Description
The City is disconnecting the sanitary sewer line for the 600 block of North Columbus Street from the combined sewer and connecting it to a fully separated sanitary sewer line. This will reduce the potential for sewer back-ups into building basements, caused by too much water entering the combined sewer system during periods of significant wet weather.

Project Budget: $1,000,000
