Monthly Provider Trainings
All City of Alexandria registered and DCHS-approved family child care providers and assistants must complete 14 hours of training annually. At least six hours of this training must be in child health, child safety and child development. Providers must maintain documentation and submit a copy to DCHS at the time the training requirements are completed and with the annual renewal application.
Providers may select from the courses below and register here. You must be a City of Alexandria child care provider to attend. Questions? Call 703.746.5437 or email Natalia Spinner ( natalia.spinner@alexandriava.gov) or Lillian Vagnoni ( Lillian.vagnoni@alexandriava.gov).
Due the COVID-19 coronavirus, all trainings will be suspended until further notice.
