Cheran Ivery is a native of Palo Alto, California. She graduated in 1997 from Cornell University with a B.A. in Hotel Administration and received her juris doctorate from the Marshall-Wythe School of Law at the College of William & Mary in 2003. She served as a judicial law clerk to the Hon. Frank J. Santoro, of the United States Bankruptcy Court of the Eastern District of Virginia.
