Sexual Assault Center Hosting Evening Support Group for Survivors 

A DCHS CONNECT NEWS HIGHLIGHT 
 

August 27, 2021--The City of Alexandria Sexual Assault Center is hosting an eight-week evening virtual support group for survivors of sexual assault. 

Let’s Talk Tuesday, open to all genders 18 and up, aims at walking with survivors in their recovery journey. 

The support group will meet every week from September 14 – November 2, 6-7:30 p.m. View or download a flyer about the group. Registration is required. If interested in attending, email gloria.saez@alexandriava.gov or call 703.850.9426 to complete intake; a link will be sent prior to each session. 

The City’s Sexual Assault Center and Domestic Violence Program hotlines are available 24/7, and advocates are ready to listen and help. Call 703.683.7273 for the Sexual Assault Hotline or 703.746.4911 for the Domestic Violence Hotline.  Confidential crisis support and chat online is also available at The National Sexual Assault Online Hotline.
