As tax season approaches, the City of Alexandria is offering free tax preparation services to help eligible residents file their federal and state income tax returns with confidence. 

As tax season approaches, the City of Alexandria is offering free tax preparation services to help eligible residents file their federal and state income tax returns with confidence. 

Trained volunteer tax preparers are available to assist individuals and families in ensuring all eligible credits and deductions are applied. This helps residents maximize refunds while avoiding costly filing errors.

Tax preparation services will be offered February 4 through April 18 at the Del Pepper Community Resource Center (4850 Mark Center Drive, 5th floor). Appointments are available on Wednesdays from 6-8 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m.-12 p.m., with limited walk-in availability. 

The program is open to residents with household incomes up to  $70,000 . Services are provided at no cost.
