Join Friends of the Alexandria Mental Health Center for a LGBTQ+ Youth Mental Health & Wellness event taking place Thursday, May 21 from 7–9 p.m. at Patrick Henry Recreation Center (4653 Taney Ave.). This community gathering offers an affirming space for LGBTQ+ youth, families, and allies to connect, learn, and strengthen support networks.

Attendees will engage in meaningful conversations with health professionals and advocates, focusing on emotional well‑being, identity, and the unique experiences of LGBTQ+ young people. The environment is designed to be welcoming, inclusive, and supportive for all who attend.

Pizza and snacks will be available. See the full event details and sign up to attend.

Visit City of Alexandria LGBTQ+ services for more information about programs, services, and events including the 9th Annual Alexandria Pride event on Saturday, June 27 at John Carlyle Square Park (300 John Carlyle Street).
