Repaving and Street Maintenance Update: Duke Street Night Work Begins August 24

Milling and paving work on Duke Street between Roth Street and Wheeler Avenue is scheduled to begin Sunday, August 24, weather permitting. The roadwork will take place at night to reduce traffic impacts. Work hours will be Sunday through Thursday, 8 p.m.- 5 a.m. No work will take place Sunday, August 31 and Monday, September 1 due to the holiday.

Expect periodic lane closures and potential delays at these times to ensure safe working conditions. Drivers are encouraged to stay aware and alert while sharing the road with milling and paving crews.

Work on Duke Street is expected to last two weeks. As a reminder, this schedule is subject to change. Factors that may affect work include, but are not limited to, weather conditions, equipment, other ongoing and future City projects, and utility work coordination.
