Old Town Pool Renovation Update: Community Meeting on March 5
The City of Alexandria’s Department of Recreation, Parks & Cultural Activities invites you to a community meeting about the Old Town Pool renovation. Join us on Thursday, March 5 at 7 p.m. at the Oswald Durant Center, 1605 Cameron Street.
City staff will share the latest updates on the design and construction timeline for the new pool and bathhouse. This is your chance to learn more about what is planned and to share your thoughts as we move this important project forward.
The project will fully replace the current pool and bathhouse with a modern facility designed to better serve our community today and in the future. Planning began in 2012 as part of the City’s Aquatic Facilities Study, which identified the need to replace aging infrastructure. Funding comes from the City’s Capital Improvement Program.
We are excited to bring this investment to life and hope you will join us to learn more and be part of the conversation.
