The Hume Avenue Stormdrain Bypass Project Construction Kick-Off scheduled for tonight Tuesday, September 8 from 7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Mount Vernon Recreation Center at 2701 Commonwealth Avenue is cancelled. This meeting will be rescheduled at a later date.

The Humes Avenue Stormdrain Bypass project is a flood mitigation effort for residential homes on Hume Ave and East Raymond Ave. The main work is to install an alternate storm sewer along Hume Avenue to bypass the existing pipe in the backyards of the townhomes on the south side of Hume Avenue.
