Join the City of Alexandria for a stream clean up at the Historic Holmes Run. Volunteers will meet at the parking lot of Beatley Library for sign-in and pre-cleanup briefing. Bags, gloves, trash grabbers, and first aid will be made available for the event. Please bring sturdy shoes and plenty of water.  

When: Sunday, September 20 from 9-11:30 a.m.  
Where: Historic Holmes Run located along the parking lot next to Beatley Central Library in All Veterans Park (299 North Pickett Street) 

Volunteers will help remove litter and debris from the stream corridor to improve water quality, protect wildlife, and reduce pollution entering our local waterways.
