BB Gun Used in Assault on Seminary Road: Alexandria Police Charge Suspect

Alexandria, Va. – January 22, at approximately 11:23 p.m., Alexandria Police officers responded to the 5000 block of Seminary Road for the report of an assault. Officers located an adult male who was shot with a BB gun by someone known to him. He was transported to a local area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. The suspect, Marcos Santos, Jr., 25 years of age, remained on scene. Santos, Jr. was arrested and charged with malicious wounding, he remains held without bond. This is an active investigation and the Alexandria Police Department is requesting anyone with information about this incident to contact Detective B. Smith at (703) 746-6159. Callers will remain anonymous.
