Victim Identified in Canterbury Square Homicide, Public Asked to Assist in Investigation
Alexandria, VA - The 19-year-old who suffered multiple gunshot wounds and died Saturday evening at 22 Canterbury Square has been identified as Deaundre Jack, of Alexandria, VA.
Detectives are actively investigating the circumstances surrounding this incident and are recanvassing the area.
APD is seeking the public’s help in providing any information that could support the investigation. A public portal has been established to submit video, photos, or other information by using the link or the QR code below to directly upload material.

The Alexandria Police Department is investigating a homicide that occurred last night, April 19, at approximately 10:15 p.m. at 22 Canterbury Square. APD officers located a 19-year-old male suffering from multiple gunshot wounds on the ground in the parking lot. Officers began life-saving measures until Alexandria Fire Department Medics took over care, however, the male succumbed to his injuries.
The Office of the Medical Examiner will determine the cause and manner of death.
Detectives with the APD Criminal Investigations Division processed evidence at the scene, canvassed the complex, and interviewed residents until early morning. The investigation is active and ongoing.
