Solarize Alexandria is Back!
The community campaign, which runs through July 15, helps reduce the cost and complexity of going solar.
If you’ve been thinking about going solar, now is the time! The City of Alexandria is excited to announce that the annual Solarize campaign back is for its 11th year and will run through July 15. During this period, homeowners and businesses can sign up to receive a free solar satellite assessment of their property and discounted prices from vetted solar system installers.
The Solarize Virginia program is a key initiative from the Local Energy Alliance Program (LEAP) to help homeowners lower their energy costs, reduce their carbon footprint, and contribute to a cleaner environment.
By working with trusted, vetted solar installers, Solarize Virginia offers competitive pricing and discounts, making solar power more affordable than ever. Homeowners can save even more with a 30% federal solar tax credit and a City property tax exemption.
For more information and to sign up, visit solarizeva.org/nova. Webinars are available May 20 at 6 p.m. and June 2 at 3 p.m. and will include a live Q&A with an installer—visit the events page to register.
