Reminder: Electric Vehicle Ride and Drive Event this Saturday, September 27 

Federal Electric Vehicle (EV) tax credits expire next week – September 30, 2025! See which EV is right for you at the City of Alexandria’s EV Ride and Drive Event on Saturday, September 27.

Test drive different EVs from local dealerships and talk to local EV owners about charging, incentives, and the benefits of electric transportation.

Don't drive a car? Come try out micromobility options like electric bikes or scooters. Test ride a scooter or e-bike from a local retailer or one of the City's micromobility operators.

When: Saturday, September 27, 2025, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Where: Chinquapin Park, Lot 3 (near the tennis courts), 3210 King St.

What to bring: Bring your driver’s license to test drive vehicles.
