These events are organized by the respective political parties and are not administered by the Alexandria Office of Voter Registration & Elections. Important Dates for the February 10 Special Election:
- Early voting: Saturday, January 31 through Saturday, February 7
- Last day to register to vote or update existing registration: February 3
- Same day registration begins: February 4
- Last day to apply for a mail ballot: 5 p.m., January 30
- Election Day: Tuesday, February 10; Polls open 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
- Mail ballots returned by mail must be: Postmarked on or before Tuesday, February 10, and received by noon (12 p.m.) on Friday, February 13
