Duke Street Land Use Plan Kick-off Community Meeting June 9
Please join us for the Kick-off Meeting for the Duke Street Land Use Plan on Monday, June 9, at Patrick Henry Recreation Center, 4653 Taney Avenue, Alexandria VA, 22304 and online via Zoom. The meeting will include an introduction to the planning process, a Q&A, and the opportunity to engage with City Staff about the future of Duke Street. A follow-up community poll will also be available for members of the public to provide feedback.
- 7 p.m.: Presentation and Q&A (also online via Zoom, see below for details).
- 7:30-8:30 p.m.: Open House (informal opportunity to ask further questions, provide feedback, and learn more)
The meeting location is accessible via the FREE DASH Bus Route 30. Food, childcare, and language interpretation in Spanish and Amharic will be available. Over the summer, staff will host Pop-Ups throughout the corridor to engage with community members and collect additional feedback. Anyone who wishes to share input is encouraged to attend a Pop-up (more information is on the project website) or contact the staff below.
